F.A. Farm - Ferndale

Food With Full Attention

F.A. Farm is a production and teaching farm located 3 miles west of Ferndale, Washington. Walter Haugen and Toni Lyons bring a wide background in the social sciences and agriculture to our main focus on providing nutritious, tasty food for our local customers. Our main business is a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) share program that runs for 18 weeks from June through October each year. We also do custom harvesting on the farm while you wait, but it is best to call first because we are so busy. Walter grew up on a dairy farm in southern Minnesota and has a varied work experience to draw on, including migrant worker, archaeologist, circus ringmaster, medieval armorer and anthropology instructor. Toni has been a licensed social worker for over 30 years and works on a daily basis to "Save the world, one child at a time." Both Walter and Toni get up each morning and try to do something positive. When that is done, they try to do something else positive. So it goes each day.
